LOCATIONS Somerset Ob-Gyn Associates maintains two offices for your convenience: 215 Union Avenue Bridgewater, N.J. 08807 1 New Amwell Road Hillsborough, N.J. 08844 PRACTICE HOURS Monday - Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday thru Thursday evening hours available -5:30pm to 8:30pm Saturday: 8:00am to 12:00noon EMERGENCIES We cover our practice 24 hours a day/7 days a week. We do this with one of our doctors on call each night and all weekend. Please do not ever go to the hospital or emergency room without calling first. If you go to a hospital, without calling us first, and the "on call" doctor is not there, you run the risk that we will not be able to come where you are to provide the care you want. Calls after regular office hours are handled by our answering service. Your message is immediately forwarded to one of our physicians who will return emergency calls without delay. If you have an urgent concern or problem, advise us, and we will make every effort to see you as quickly as possible. We plan appointments so that our patients can expect to be seen on time. Our schedule is rarely altered due to emergencies, since one of our physicians is on duty at the hospital at all times. Need to Cancel? Please call to cancel any appointment you are unable to keep, so that we may give time to another patient. BILLING & INSURANCE Payment Procedures - Co-Payments for an office visit are requested when services are rendered, unless previous arrangements have been made. Payment with VISA or Master Card or American Express is acceptable. We will be happy to assist you in filling out forms in case of disability, and to help with other types of claims. Insurance - Somerset OB/GYN Associates participates in most insurance plans and HMOs. To find out if we accept your insurance, please give us a call at any of our offices. Or if you have a question about your plan, or if we are not listed in your provider manual, please call to check if we are members. When an insurance claim has been filed, you will receive a monthly statement listing any balance that your insurance company has denied until payment has been received. Since your health insurance is a contract between you and your insurance carrier, please remember that the responsibility for payment of any balance due is ultimately yours. PHONE CALLS We encourage you to call if your care or our services require further explanation. Please remember, however, that the physician/certified nurse practitioner may be with a patient and unable to come to the phone immediately. However, all patient phone calls will be returned. Your questions regarding billing or insurance should be directed to our Business Office at 908-725-5068, Monday through Friday between 9:30am. and 3:00pm. Inquires about disability should be made to the Hillsborough Office, 908-874-5900, Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Prescription refills will be processed between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please anticipate weekend expirations of medication and phone us early in the week to arrange for a prescription renewal. Any prescription refills called in after 3:00p.m. will be processed the next day. Absolutely no regular prescriptions will be refilled after regular business hours. |
